"I'M NOT YOUR F**K'N BROTHER, MAN..." - Noel Gallagher

Bono insists that everyone join his "Brotherhood" 

Tonight, more than ever, I really felt Bono's sincerity, he has the audience listening in rapt attention hoping they are accepted into his "Brotherhood" and yes, Everyone is invited into U2's  global embrace. It was all very sincere. Yet, I could not help but think about a different concert I attended the week before. 

 

 

Noel, had quite a DIFFERENT sentiment.  Yet, there was something similar to Bono?

During  Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds concert an incident occurred...where one of Noel's fans, (I mean heckler) Thought he was clever and shouted "Where's your Brother?” Obviously annoyed, Noel responded, "What did you SAY??!" Creating a very tense moment - The heckler politely backed downed "Ahhh, Sorry Brother, Sorry Man...," And without  any hesitation,  Noel snapped back - "I'm not your fuckin brother, Man”... 

The audience settled and the show resumed. Noel’s response felt very honest. We all know, Noel has issues with his brother Liam and apparently he doesn't care about possessing any spirit of "brotherhood."  And maybe, it's because he doesn't have to - Hmmm…Noel's not everyone's brother. 

Yet, he doesn’t try to be anything other than who he is, so whether Noel wants to or not he does belong to a brotherhood - It's called Authenticity - He's just not your brother... Man.
